​Some key points for season 2023

• U5 Registration is FREE for the Early Bird pricing time. ie 9th Feb for 4 weeks. After that it will revert to a “cost price” of $150 which is what CCF charge us per U5 child.
• CCF have increased fees for all ages from between $12 and $15 per player. While we have tried to absorb as many of these costs as possible, especially through the junior age groups, we have had to increase our rego prices this season, however we are cheaper than most other clubs. This is another reason to take advantage of these “Early Bird Prices” before they increase after 4 weeks. Registration prices for all ages can be seen on our website.   https://www.avocafc.com
• There will be Girl only competitions in ages  7/9/11 due to the increase in girl participation in these ages.
• We will have our face to face Information day early Feb . (date/times TBA).
• Grading will commence for most Comp age groups the week of 13th Feb. (details TBA)
• Season starts 1st April with a break for Easter
• All players U5-U14 will get a FREE Reptile Park pass
• As usul socks are included in rego

• CCF are offering a U20 Fri night Comp if there is enough interest.

• Coaching Courses hosted by CCF have already been scheduled during preseason. We HIGHLY recommend these courses. They will be FREE and encourage all our coaches to attend those relevant to your age group. Please stay tuned for more info coming on those.

In very exciting news CCF have given us usage of PAUL OVAL at Matcham. This is an existing oval that has a brand new surface and has been given to CCF by council to be used as a football oval for the first time.
 
We will still be using ERINA HIGH as the main field for most of our U5-U16 and PAUL OVAL will be used for our senior teams. There may be some cross over depending on draws, but this is how we are expecting to use it. This oval will replace our usage of Fagans for game days and will be the first ground we have that we don't share with other clubs. 

We will have full usage of the existing canteen and change rooms and for the first time can apply for grants to make improvements to the facilities. This is a HUGE win for our club and something we are very excited about. As yet CCF and ourselves havent had access to view the facilities as council aren’t expected to complete site works until 13th Jan however we are excited to see it asap.

The ground is 15-20 mins from Avoca and only 5 mins from Erina High so its a better option than Fagans and is realistically as close as we will get an oval in the short term.

With the success of the Men’s World Cup and the upcoming Women’s world Cup being held in Aus and NZ we expect this to be a HUGE year for Football. We are looking at holding some WWC specific events and to have a focus on Womens Football this year so please stay tuned.
